More than half of British men have overlooked potentially serious physical or mental health concerns, a new survey reveals. Among those who ignored symptoms, 40% later confronted more severe health problems. The OnePoll.com study of 5,000 UK men found one-fifth actively avoid doctors during Christmas season to avoid dampening festivities and prioritize holiday preparations, both cited by 18%. Nearly half (47%) hope health issues resolve independently, while 29% fear diagnosis results. Christmas worsens self-care habits, with 63% consuming more food and 40% drinking more alcohol than usual. (Story URL)
