Half of Americans have developed conversation “game plans” for upcoming holiday gatherings, according to a new Talker Research survey of 2,000 adults. The study reveals that 47% prefer sitting at kids’ tables to dodge uncomfortable discussions. Politics tops the list of banned topics at 42%, followed by finances at 28% and weight comments at 26%. Instead, families gravitate toward safer subjects like food and wine, which 48% prefer discussing around the table.
