A survey of 2,000 adults reveals 34% of adults think they could survive a horror slasher film and defeat the villain. Three-quarters credit their quick thinking and survival instincts for potential success, while 42% admit they’d likely be eliminated first. The OnePoll.com study found 14% would use “logic and reason” to outsmart villains, and 13% would simply run away. Freddie Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street topped the list of most memorable villains at 40%, followed by Hannibal Lecter at 39% and Michael Myers at 33%.
